Refund and return policy

1. General

This return and refund policy applies to all purchases made through the online store. Tändved.se or Tandved.se
Tändved.se only sells to consumers (B2C).

Tändved.se is a sole proprietorship.
Official company registration number (org. no. / VAT no.) will be added as soon as it is available.

2. Right of withdrawal

When purchasing remotely, you, as a consumer, have the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days without giving any specific reason.

Tändved.se also offers a voluntary extended return period of 30 days, provided that the conditions below are met.

The cooling-off period begins on the day you, or the person you have designated, receive the goods.


3. Terms and conditions for returns

An item may be returned if:

  • it is unused

  • it is in original packaging

  • it is in original condition

  • it has not been assembled, tested, or used

Returns that are used, damaged, or incomplete will be rejected, unless the damage clearly occurred during transport.


4. Return process (step by step)

  1. Please contact us by email first before sending a return

  2. Please provide your order number and reason for return.

  3. Attach clear photos (mandatory)

  4. You will receive confirmation and further instructions from us.

  5. After receipt, we check the goods

  6. Upon approval, repayment will be made.

Unannounced returns may be rejected.


5. Costs for returns

  • Due incorrect purchase / right of withdrawal:
    The return shipping costs are for the customer.

  • Original shipping cost non-refundable.

  • No administrative fees or storage fees apply.


6. Refunds

After receipt and approved inspection of the returned goods:

  • The purchase price will be refunded via the same payment method (Stripe).

  • The repayment is made within 3 business days after receiving the package

  • By 14 days after we have received notification of the right of withdrawal

If the item is found to be damaged or used, the refund may be denied or reduced.


7. Defective or damaged goods (complaints)

If the item is defective or damaged upon delivery:

  • Contact us within a reasonable time by email

  • Attach clear photos

  • We will respond within 2 working days

In the event of a manufacturing defect or transport damage:

  • The cost are not for the customer

  • We investigate and propose a solution:

    • repair

    • exchange of parts

    • full compensation (new item)

Transport damage is reported and usually requires that the damage be claimed from the carrier.


8. Warranty

Tändved.se submits 10-year warranty on the manual RVS wood splitter.

The warranty applies in the following cases:

  • normal use

  • use according to the instructions for use

The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, abuse, or negligence.

The following procedure applies to complaints:

  1. Repair

  2. Exchange

  3. Refund (if the above is not possible)


9. International orders (Europe)

  • Delivery is only made within Europe.

  • In the event of an incorrect purchase, the customer is responsible for the return shipping costs.

  • In the event of manufacturing defects, we work with the customer to find a solution.

  • In the event of transport damage, the matter will be handled by the carrier.

Orders outside Europe are not accepted.


10. Cancellation before delivery

If the order is canceled before delivery, the entire purchase price will be refunded.
